Summery:
This ideas is to make a sort of guard tower/post the basis will be the tower will have broken elements to it and have the flag flying high to show that the order has not fallen yet. The flag will blow in the wind and there will be smoke around the tower as well as some fire. I am aiming to make it like the tower has just been attacked adding cuts and slashes to the wood and then cracks in the stone, to make it look broken an damaged. With this idea i wanted to make combination of order and chaos by have the tower and flag symbolism order but the broken down shape of the tower showing that it has been in war and has been ruin/destroyed and had to be rebuilt.
Mechanics:
the main things i would like to add in when its in engine will be fire affects, and lighting which will all be done in engine. I will aim to have fog effects around the guard post to add more of a darken look to the model and environment and maybe some smoke from fire.

This mood board focuses on Guard Towers, I wanted to look into guard tower designs as well as flag designs. I am aiming to make the flag either blow in the wind or have small ripple effect so I looked at medieval flags. I wanted to get a feel for this ideas and I did this by generating a small mood board that shows off some of the things that I want to put into this idea/design. I want to also make a plat underneath it that is like a battlefield which will give the design a element of the Chaos part of the theme which will allow me to hit all the marks I wanted to hit when making this ides and going into the project. The colours are also important and are something that I am going to explore more If i choose to do this idea things like wood grand and just general wear and tear. Each image was chose due to how it helps me come up with ideas and how they help me get a general feel of the idea that I want to do and how I could present it.

Summery:
This idea I wanted to model some police gear, they symbolise order and try to keep the peace. I want to make a small environment style setup that will much like a police armoury having gear and lockers. The main parts will be the gear but adding in the background items such as the lockers, hooks,and benches to give it a feel when your looking at it. I wanted to do something a little more close to modern time and make a nice realistic looking police shield with cuts and scrapes in the metal that show how it has been damaged on duty. I want to make the small environment have fit the idea of order so i am going to have things look extremely neat and clean as well as posters and boards around looking professional and placed in perfect tangent with the rest of the room.
Mechanics:
The main mechanics i will need for this one will be the, lighting effect and rays coming from the open doors and windows. I want to make a atmosphere using the lighting.

This mood board focuses on Police/riot gear, I wanted to look into police uniform designs as well as weapons and equipment designs. I am aiming to make a small locker room that shows off all of the gear that I design.I wanted to get the a feel for this idea and I did this by generating a small mood board that shows off some of the things that I want to put into this idea/design. I want to present everything in a a little scene to make it stand out even more and make it so the gear is not just floating or sitting on a boring table so I also looked into lockers and police armoury. The textures are something i want to look in when doing this idea, it is very focused on the object and there textures.

The idea is make a ancient temple that is falling apart with a half section inside to look like it is destroyed and old on one side and brand new on the other but to have them slowly combining together to make one. The entire temple would be sitting on a floating island, the entire temple will be placed here. The main parts will be the broken into new and the new into broken and I would like to use the entire thing to symbolise chaos and the corruption is causes and order and purification of the corruption. The aim will be to make the temple symbolise these 2 things.

This mood board focuses on Temples and the environments they are in, I wanted to find ideas for the environments that sit around temples. I wanted to get a feel for the colours as well that is why i looked at some other temples such as rain forest temples and desert temples to see if I could get some really cool ideas for colours and creation of assets. The main things I wanted to show with this mood board was what the basis of my idea will be. The textures are something I will explore more if i choose to do this idea.

Full Summery:
A guard watch tower in the middle of the battlefield surrounded by weapons and fire. The idea is to heavily work with textures and mechanics within the Unreal engine, smoke ,and fog will all be used to generate a atmosphere in the scene and will allow me to bring the entire scene to life. I will be building this scene bit by bit and slowing building up to the final design and set up this will help with the general construction of the scene and allow me to show it all in the production and dev log. I will adding lots of different mechanics to my project maybe by the end making it extremely foggy to generate a atmosphere of being in a war zone and I want to make the entire thing look battered and warn out, making some more environmental damage the weapons and tools around maybe by adding in things like hammer to repair the tower and such to look like it has been though a lot. Additionally I may end up adding in other assets such as arrows and other small assets to fill parts of the scene in and improve the look and flow of the scene in general.

If i cannot do the fire effect because it is something I have never done before I will just have to remove it from the project for time saving and to make the best project and stop myself from rushing elements of it and making it not my best work the aim will be to make a Stylised textures for the entire model this will allow me to explore stylised textures.

This is a collection of images that focus around Guard Towers I will be using these to help me make a generalised idea of what shape I want the tower and they will help with the sketching process and will allow me to make more ideas using these images as reference. I will also have to adapt a far few of the ideas to be more stylised so that they fit the texturing and the rest of the assets that I will be adding to my work. This is collection of images based around Swords & Shields these will be used as scatter assets and will be mainly used to fill spaces in the scene but also to build atmosphere as if it has been used in a fight and has been left after is uses has either fallen in battle or has left it behind. For this moodboard I collected some images to use as inspiration and as idea generation material, I wanted to look at different medieval styles of flags so that I could get a base Idea of what i wanted to do and show of what kind of thing I am looking for when i make the asset. This is one of the assets that will be blowing in the wind in my scene and sitting atop of the tower in my scene to symbolise the protection of the the kingdom that own the tower/flag. For this project I really wanted to symbolise both order and chaos so I thought a guard tower standing over a battlefield would show both the protection of the people and the order the guards give and the chaos that owning it under the flag can bring.

This is a collection of example images that I will be using to generate ideas for my textures and to give reference to the type of texture I would like to do for the design for each of them. I wanted to look more into the types of texture that I wanted to make and the ways i wanted them to look. This includes the metal and wood around the shield and also the insignia that is on the front of the shield that has been painted on that I will be making look like it has been painted onto it. I want to make all of the assets look of the same quality and not spend too much time on one and make one of the them look worse.
