Audience age:
I want to focus on the age range of 18-28 because of the art style that I am choosing this is because i really like the look of hyper realistic textures and I am more fond of making them. I have decided that due to the hyper realistic nature of these textures it also means that the me to this conclusion because of the research I have done into the wild west and I really like making the realistic textures but this does mean that I am shrinking my audience range.
What is there favorite genre?:
While looking into genres I found out the age range for both game and movies they differ a large amount due to the different age ratings standards but I could not find a genre listing for games so I used the movies one to generate a base idea of what age rating like playing from what they like watching this will help me get a better idea of what ages like what and how my diorama will be to older people over the 18 – 28 mark.

After looking at this it seems that action is something that is highly sort after in the film industry in america this leads me to believe that people who watch these films would be more directed to action games as well there seems to be a large amount of 18-29 who watch a higher percent of the more horror and crime films which leads me to the conclusion that younger individuals to play a western game due to the action and crime settings that are involved in it, it is a shame that western is not in many movies anymore and that it has slowly died out meaning generating a more accurate data percentage is not possible so I am using the crime and action to generate a base for my age range.
What types of films, games and products do they like?
The age range I have chosen seem to be highly interested into Action, Horror and adventure films and looking into games it was harder to find something that actually shows who buys what game and what age so using the table above I can come to a general idea of what type of games,product and films that these ages buy, the reason I have had to use a generalization of the table above is because there is consistent statistics for products and ages that buy them as well as what ages buy what games and play them.
media tastes?
Researching into media tastes of the age range I have chosen leads me to believe that my age range mainly use applications such as Facebook,Instagram and Snapchat the most as there primary ways of online communication. Following these facts you can see why games like borderlands & Destiny post adds on these application to appeal to a wider audience and so they can gather and effect more of the targeted age range.

What products do they buy?
The ages I have chosen both have disposable income and due to there being a large amount of age gap between the two and new products coming out so much it makes it hard to fine a exact idea of what either of ages buy this means I cannot really get full idea of what 18-28 year old actually buy and looking for statistics I could not really find anything that was exact new phones are brought commonly by younger ages but the older ages like 25+ are more weary of what to buy and how to spend there income.
What is their favorite color?
Researching in colours that the ages of 18+ like I have found that most male teenagers, aged 18+ prefer the colors, black,blue and white, looking at females colour preference which are black, red and orange. Now looking into young adults the colours males like are blue, silver ,and brown and females in the ages above 20+ gold, red, and orange.

Using the research that I have gathered in this section, I am able to see what my audience age range like and how my work will affect my age range and how they will react to the content that I will produce. This also allows me to see what types of genre suit my age range which seems to be Action, adventure, and horror which are all fairly mature and lots of games that are in 18+ age range use mature content this is games like Borderlands and Skyrim both are action adventure games which have meany scenes of gore and graphic violence which seem to suit the age range I have chosen a lot more not only this but the lower end of this age range from 18 – 20 are more likely to spend more money on games when the older ages 21-28 are more common to saver money and keep saving for bills and payments that they need. People who are 18 years of age don’t really have too much to spend money on unless they are a university student which removes a large amount of there disposable income so they cannot buy much they work for shorter hours and focus more on having fun then saving for things.
Audience Board

I have designed a audience profile board,this will be used to give me a general idea of what the age/audience that I have selected would most likely enjoy doing or using. This will help me fit my project more directly towards my target audience and will allow me to know what more appeals to them, character, UI, colours, and how these all link into my project and how they can help shape and change it to better fit my targeted audience.
