This mood board is a collection of images to help with the general shape and with the components that will be going on the bike like bolts, suspension and exhausts as well as the base shape. I selected a majority of this images because of there base shape and the extensions as well as how interesting the different parts of the shape can be and how i can represent that into my own work, I was also looking at there colours mix and how that can help with my own work to improve it. After finding some good shapes I also looked for the most interesting additions to one of the designs this means suspension, bolts and exhausts

This mood board is a collection of images to help with the general shape of the helmet that I want my rider to wear, the key points I was looking at was the visor and the base shape. I also was looking at colour saturation and LED lighting effects that are used of some of them which really compliment the cyberpunk theme. I selected a majority of this images because of there shape of the visors and then began looking at the shape of the helmet I also looked at games like halo reach’s helmets which are clunky but give a touch up with using one of these images above i could make them smoother.

This is a collection of images or texture ideas and designs that I could use for my bikes, I have tried to add a mixture of texture styles, like the patterns on the rubber and the metal to be raised and extruded to make a really nice looking texture. I also was looking at texture colour at the same time trying to keep a nice dark colour look but I also look at metal colours where you can change them to any colour having these types of textures allows me to adapt to any colour I choose.

I chose these images due to there cyberpunk style and they have given me inspiration for when I do my designs on my bike, the aim is to do some designs to put as stickers onto my bike to make it out as if it has been doing races for a long time.I like these images because of the basic style and almost all of them look cyberpunk without saying the words cyberpunk you can just look at them and for some reason the font looks futuristic. This will help me generate my designs that will go on my bike.

• What did I do this week?

This week I finished the research section of this unit, I finished the mood boards and the proposal for this unit. I picked images for my moodboard that fit the object I was going to design, these will help me come up with ideas for shapes and such for the rest of the projects. I also completed my proposal during this week with my proposal i used some images to give some examples to the reader so it is not hard to understand why I did it in the end.

What tasks didn’t you complete from this week?

I complete all the tasks that I wanted to complete for this week and I am ready to move onto the next week which will be where I am going to begin sketched and photo bashing.

I have done all that I needed to do for this week, but i would like to do a once over of it to make sure it is all up to scratch. next week I will be photobashing and sketching.

This week I created lots of sketches and colour ideas for my model that I will be making, I used 2 techniques which were photo bashing and traditional sketching where I used the photobash to make a outline that I then made a design. I mad at least 4 designs which you can see in the video above that I then came down to a final one and began to do colour ideas on the design I liked the most, I tried to make really interesting colour ideas that brought the colours of cyberpunk out.

This week I completed the tasks that I needed to do and I am really happy with the art that I have done.

Week 3/4:

Current Position:

• What did I do this week?

Blockout version of my bike, I rushed ahead during this week so this was gone in a very short period of time, so this is the only image i could find of it.

This week I did the blockouts of my models,

This week I modeled the blockout for my bike I will be creating, the main part that I found troublesome and annoying was trying to model right the shapes and to get a nice curved and smooth shape. The placement off the the pats of the bike is very important and was one of the main things that I needed to get right and took a while and I found it really hard to get the correct lining but after a while the block out started to look really good. I have merged these 2 weeks into one due to a lack of recording footage and the fact that right after I finished the block out I had moved onto the final rendition of the bike’s model so I spent only about a day on the block out and the rest working on the final model and design.

What tasks didn’t you complete from this week?

I managed to get the block out finished and then moved onto the final design that made me really happy to get to this point and I am happy i could move forwards at this speed.

My work is going well and is moving at good pace at the moment i am going to keep at this speed.
